Getting Started with Blackboard
All Students are assigned a Blackboard username and password as part of the standard account creation process. The standard account is used to connect to Blackboard, the campus network, library databases, myFramingham portal, and web e-mail. If you do not know your username and password call the 24/7 Blackboard Support line at 1.866.361.8970 or contact the Student Help Center at 508.215.5950.
Online Students receive a detailed e-mail with their account and login information shortly after they are added to their Blackboard course site. The e-mail provides details on how to access Blackboard and enter the online site. Included in this message is an assigned username and password -- which is required to enter the Blackboard learning space.
Online Students only: The e-mail you receive is confirmation that you are enrolled in your Blackboard course site. A link to the course will display once the instructor makes the course available. All courses are made available no later than the day the class begins. If the e-mail is not received before the start of class, students should call our 24/7 Blackboard support at 1.866.361.8970 to receive their login and password information, or contact the Academic Technology and Distance Education (ATDE) office at 508.626.4927 for the information.
