Online Student Orientation Session
 

Tuesday, May 20th 5:00PM to 6:30 PM

College Center Forum (2nd Floor)

Framingham State College invites students registering for summer 2008 online classes to an Online Student Orientation on Tuesday, May 20th from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. The session will be held on campus in the College Center Forum (2nd level). Plan to arrive early to meet your fellow students. Light refreshments will be served.

Who Should Attend?

  • Students taking their first online class.

  • Students who have taken online classes but wish to be better prepared.

  • Students who need someone to answer questions about Blackboard.

  • Students who wish to learn more taking classes at a distance.


What will I learn?

The one hour presentation will help you become familiar with the tools and resources available to you as an online student. Topics covered include:

  • How to be a successful online student

  • How to get started with Blackboard

  • Academic and Technology Resources
